About Me
Dr. Juan Herrera is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with clinical interests in liver disease, pancreatology, colon cancer screening, biliary procedures with advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatography (ERCP). During his tenure he was previously honored with appointments, serving as section chief as well as continuing medical education chairman. He additionally has several published research findings in various medical publications.
Dr. Herrera delivers a patient-centric process with active patient participation in decision-making. He fosters compassion, care, understanding and a listening-approach. He aims to practice evidence-based medicine with central consideration of the patient's emotional needs and expectations.
Outside of work, Dr. Herrera enjoys family time with his wife and sons and daughters. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys reading literature, gardening and traveling with loved ones.
