Josip Vukina, MD

Dr. Josip Vukina is a board-certified urologist with clinical interests in andrology and infertility. Dr. Vukina earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He completed his andrology and male infertility fellowship at the University College London Hospitals in London, England. He joins WakeMed most recently from Pittsburgh and is fluent in Spanish and Croatian.

Dr. Vukina believes in always being there for the patient, whether that's an evening phone call to relay test results or spending that extra few minutes in the office to make sure the patient has all their questions answered. As a physician, Dr. Vukina’s focus is on the doctor-patient relationship, which he finds more important than anything else.

Outside of the office, Dr. Vukina enjoys spending time with his two children and wife. In his free time, you can find him traveling, playing soccer, skiing or sailing.
