About Me
Johanita Lourens is board certified in occupational therapy with an additional lymphedema certification. Her clinical interests include lymphedema, hand therapy and home health. She earned her undergraduate degree while attending University of Stellenbosch in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Lourens believes strongly in listening to patients because she understands that their unique experiences and perspectives are crucial to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. She prioritizes creating a space where patients feel heard and valued, believing this fosters trust and collaboration in their care.
When not seeing patients, Lourens enjoys camping, fishing, sewing and spending time with her dogs and parrots.
