Jessica Rakes, PA

Jessica Rakes is a board-certified physician assistant and possesses a keen interest in primary care, recognizing the significant need within our communities. She also appreciates the trust and enduring connections established through primary care. Rakes obtained her bachelor's degree as well as her master's degree from the University of Kentucky located in Lexington, KY.

Rakes’ personal patient care philosophy centers around patient-centered care that emphasizes communication, trust and evidence-based medicine. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard and respected while being actively involved in their health care decisions.

When not seeing patients, Rakes loves spending time outdoors, hiking, swimming and traveling with her family. Rakes enjoys exploring the world in which we live at any opportunity. This in mind, she aspires to return to medical mission work, as well.
