Jeremy Wininger, NP

Jeremy Wininger is a board-certified nurse practitioner with clinical interests centered on pulmonology, where he is particularly drawn to the diagnostic challenges and management of lung disorders. He is fascinated by the intricate physiology of the lungs, realizing the profound impact pulmonary disease has on overall health and how it influences quality of life. In addition to clinical care, he has a passion for education, especially in teaching clinical reasoning. Wininger completed his undergraduate degree while attending King College in Bristol, TN. He then finished his master’s at Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, NC.

Wininger views patient care as a partnership. He strives to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected. He takes time to understand concerns, cultural background and personal circumstances to tailor treatment plans that are not only clinically appropriate but also aligned with the patient's values and lifestyle.

When not seeing patients, Wininger enjoys spending quality time with family, which helps him stay grounded and balanced.
