About Me

Dr. Beckham is an OB/GYN with clinical interests in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecological surgery including robotic surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding and uterine fibroids, medical and surgical care of transgender and gender nonconforming patients, and family planning.

Dr. Beckham completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. During this time, she received a research award to focus on maternal and infant morbidity and mortality, and she was recognized for excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

In addition, she has led and assisted in various research projects related to high-risk issues in pregnancy, such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. She has shared her knowledge on many topics through peer-reviewed publications and presentations throughout the country.

In her free time, Dr. Beckham enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking with her three large dogs, and practicing power vinyasa yoga.
