Jena Donovan, PA

Jena Donovan is a physician assistant with a clinical interest in preventative cardiovascular medicine. Her goal is to help patients understand their individual risks and take control of their heart health to prevent and avoid complications associated with heart disease. She also enjoys learning about peripheral vascular disease and being involved in the office's vein disease program.

Donovan’s patient care philosophy centers around empathy, recognizing that while health care is her everyday job, for patients and their families, it can represent some of the most frightening and challenging moments. The heart is the symbol for life itself, making any cardiac concern deeply unsettling for patients and families. Donovan aims to ease any fear by providing reassurance through patient education, explaining complex conditions in a way that patients can understand and exploring the "why" behind their treatments. By empowering patients with knowledge about their cardiovascular health, she helps them feel informed, seen, heard and valued.

Donovan has lived in the Holly Springs area since she was four years old. She and her high school sweetheart are lucky to have both of their families in the area, so they carve out time to see them every week. Donovan enjoys lifting weights and doing hot yoga with her mom several times a week. She has three cats (Grimm, Spooky and Ducky) who are rascally but the sweetest boys ever. She also loves summertime scuba diving and wintertime skiing.
