Jen Parks, NP

Jen Parks is a nurse practitioner in hospital medicine. She has experience in emergency and urgent care settings and began her career at WakeMed as a registered nurse in 2019. She is excited about learning and growing in her new role, while helping patients with a variety of medical needs.

Parks’ personal patient care philosophy involves collaboration to achieve each patient’s medical goals. She strives to educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, so they can make the best health care decisions. She believes it is important to treat all patients with the same respect and compassion she’d provide to her own family — delivering superior services in the acute care setting.

When not at work, Parks enjoys spending time with family, friends and her Weimaraner. She also appreciates traveling, going to the beach, working out and hiking.
