Jalisa Kelly, MD

Dr. Jalisa Kelly is a psychiatrist with a clinical interest in working with marginalized communities who often have no or delayed access to mental health resources. She aims to help fill in the gaps for those communities to aid in earlier detection, less stigmatization and better prognosis. She completed her undergraduate education at University of Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She remained there to complete her doctorate at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Kelly’s personal patient care philosophy is to provide patient-centered care and to leave patients feeling more empowered by educating them about their conditions and prognosis. The goal is to help patients achieve a level of functioning that allows them to participate in society.

Outside of work, Dr. Kelly enjoys Pilates, going to the gym, watching football (Go Bills!) and basketball. She’s also interested in making a return to salsa dancing in the near future.
