About Me
Dr. Jacob Wells is a board-certified doctor of osteopathic medicine with clinical interests in medical education, transitions of care and care of medically complex patients. He completed his undergraduate education while attending Campbell University College of Arts and Sciences in Buies Creek, NC, finishing Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to earn a master of science in pharmaceutical science at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He remained in Buies Creek to complete medical school at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Hethen relocated to Raleigh to complete his internal medicine residency at WakeMed.
Dr. Wells aims to provide excellent patient-centered and evidence-based care. He is also a lifelong learner, committed to staying up to date on new innovations and guidelines in medicine. His goal is to consistently provide the highest quality and most advanced care to all he serves.
Outside of work, Dr. Wells enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog. He also enjoys traveling and relaxing at the beach.
