Jackie Costello, DNP

Jackie Costello is a board-certified, doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner with clinical interests in educating families about childhood immunizations and treating renal issues in the pediatric population. Costello began her postsecondary education at Frederick Community College, where she earned an associate’s degree. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s degree in nursing education and a post-master’s degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She completed her doctorate at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA.

Costello’s personal patient care philosophy is rooted in providing compassionate, family-centered care that recognizes children as individuals with unique needs and families as essential partners in the healing process. She believes effective pediatric care requires not only addressing physical health but also supporting growth, development and emotional well-being.

Outside of work, Costello enjoys going to musicals at the Durham Performing Arts Center, traveling to visit family and spending time with her five dogs on her beautiful mini–North Carolina farm.
