Grace Muccio, PA-C

Grace Muccio is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology — with emphasis on cardiovascular risk reduction through lifestyle modification. She completed her undergraduate education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She then earned her master’s degree through High Point University in High Point, NC.

Muccio believes that time spent listening and educating is essential to high-quality care. She strives to ensure patients feel heard, supported and well-informed, so they can actively participate in decisions about their health and become advocates for their care. She approaches each patient with undivided attention and treats them with the same care and respect she would offer to family, recognizing that the hospital setting can be an unfamiliar and stressful place. She aims to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on treating the whole person.

Outside of her professional life, Muccio enjoys staying active outdoors, especially running and hiking. She loves cooking homemade Italian meals, traveling to new destinations and cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams.
