Giselle Monahan, MSN, FNP-C

Giselle Monahan is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in preventative medicine for adults across the life span. She began her postsecondary education at University of North Carolina Wilmington in Wilmington, NC. She then relocated to Chapel Hill to earn her master’s while attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Monahan's approach to patient care centers around the principles of open communication and a collaborative, team-oriented strategy. This philosophy emphasizes the importance of engaging patients in their own health journeys, encouraging them to take an active role in managing their well-being. By fostering a supportive environment, Monahan equips patients with the necessary tools and resources to make informed decisions about their health. When not seeing patients, Monahan enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, cooking and baking, exploring new restaurants in the Triangle area and exercising.
