Gareth Pollard, NP

Gareth Pollard is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with clinical interests in comprehensive mental health and well-being. Originally from Leicestershire, United Kingdom, he began his career in health care in cardiology, also serving for many years as a firefighter. Pollard relocated to Fayetteville, NC, in 2008 and earned his bachelor of science in nursing from Fayetteville State University, practicing primarily in emergency nursing before transitioning to psychiatry. He completed his master of science in nursing while attending East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

His philosophy of care is grounded in a holistic, patient-centered approach, emphasizing identification and treatment of the underlying contributors to mental health conditions rather than focusing solely on presenting symptoms.

Outside of clinical practice, he values time in nature, especially hiking and exploring the outdoors, as part of his own approach to wellness.
