Two emergency room physicians gave ridiculous explanations for my acute adomin attacks. Went to see Dr. Duberman and described both attacks and gave him access to both CT scans that were done at the hospital. He instantly knew what the problem was and why it was occurring. He had a nurse speak to me first and explain what is going on. I was given the option to talk to Dr. Duberman before having to undress since I had already been seen for the same type of visit. He also had a female nurse in the room at all times during his visit. He spoke to keep my mind off the procedure without being too talkative, and he let met re-dress after the procedure before talking to me about it. I'm glad I didn't have to sit there half naked being told the aftercare procedures. As far as this type of office visit, it was the least awkward that it could be.

My main nurse (can’t remember her name) was outstanding. She was calming, caring, and understanding and made me feel at ease before and after my surgery. All of the other nurses and staff I encountered were also top notch - I’ve had 3 surgeries and have been to the hospital many times before this and I have to say this was the best experience I've had at any hospital. Dr. Duberman was very professional and made me feel very confident in him and put me at ease about the procedure. Dr. Duberman is by far the best surgeon out there. I came to Dr. Duberman with a medical issue created/worsened by another “surgeon” who had told me nothing could be done to fix the problem. When I say Dr. Duberman saved my life that is no exaggeration. I will be forever grateful for the work he did surgically and the care he took after me post procedure. I will be the first to say I am not an easy patient but he always made my feelings feel valid and answered every and any questions I had. He has a wonderful bedside manner and makes what could be awkward (because of the nature of where the surgery was done) very professional and comfortable.
