About Me
Dr. Eric Duberman is board-certified in both general and colon and rectal surgery with clinical interests in hernias, gallbladders, hemorrhoids, and diverticulitis. Dr. Duberman earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. Dr. Duberman is fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in Piscataway, New Jersey, and completed his residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Duberman brings decades of experience to WakeMed with diverse expertise in colon and rectal surgery, as well as general surgery.
Dr. Duberman treats every patient as if they were a member of his family. He is known to call his patients with test results as soon as he sees them, since he knows patients are anxious to hear their results. Dr. Duberman strives to perform each surgery with care and precision and treats his patients the way he would want to be treated by his provider. Dr. Duberman has had his pilot’s license for 22 years and enjoys flying airplanes in his spare time.
