Emie Price, DNP

Emie Price is a doctor of nursing practice. She specializes in family practice with clinical interests in preventative care and chronic disease management, including hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. Price began her postsecondary education at the University of Wisconsin Madison in Madison, WI. She then spent six years gaining nursing experience in the trauma and preoperative settings. She earned her doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC.

Price prioritizes caring for the whole person, understanding that each patient is more than a diagnosis. She considers physical, mental and social factors that impact well-being to determine how best to offer the most compassionate and patient-centered care. Price listens to patients, meeting them where they are and creating an environment where they feel comfortable and safe to ask questions and receive care as active members of their treatment team. Additionally, Price values collaborating with the inter-professional care team to develop a sustainable care plan for each patient.

When not seeing patients, Price enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, traveling, sharing quality time with family and friends, competing in triathlons and playing pickle ball.
