About Me
Edyta Koczela is a board-certified adult geriatric and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with clinical interests in substance use and novel approaches to treating mood disorders. She also cares deeply about advancing affordable access to care, with a focus on decreasing stigma and normalizing psychiatric health. She earned her undergraduate degree at SUNY at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She earned a master’s degree from Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing in New York, NY.
Koczela is committed to delivering care that centers around the patient, honoring their dignity, values and choices. She emphasizes ethical principles in her practice, focusing on clear communication and empathetic listening to ensure that patients feel acknowledged and supported.
