About Me
Dr. David Wegener is a neurologist based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Wegener is known for his expertise in movement disorders and procedural neurology. He uses botulinum toxin to treat various conditions such as migraines, dystonia, drooling, spasticity, facial spasms and other related issues. He also performs nerve blocks and trigger point injections for certain types of headaches and provides consultations for deep brain stimulation (DBS) and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatments for movement disorders.
Dr. Wegener graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Mass General Brigham at Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders at Duke University before joining Raleigh Neurology.
