About Me

Dr. Colin Muncie is a board-certified pediatric surgeon with clinical interests in general and thoracic pediatric surgery as well as neonatal surgery. He completed his general surgery training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He remained in Jackson at Children's of Mississippi, the only children's hospital in the state, to complete his subspecialty training in pediatric surgery.

Dr. Muncie strives to provide hands on, personalized care that is evidence-based while always putting the patient first. Outside of the office, Dr. Muncie can be found spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and golfing.

Dr Muncie and his team are exceptional. They have been so helpful in getting our teen daughter through chest wall surgery, explaining the before, during, and after expectations. And following up when there were concerns or questions. I’d give them a higher rating if the scale was extended. I highly recommend him and his team!

All medical staff was extremely friendly to my baby and us parents. A nurse even used her phone to play Bluey so my baby would relax.

EVERYTHING was outstanding! Even my 14 yo commented on how comfortable and cared for they felt!. (Do you know how hard it is to please a 14yo?) From beginning to end, the process was easy and the communication from everyone involved was impeccable!
