Cindy Williams, DO

Dr. Cindy Williams is a board-certified, fellowship-trained doctor of osteopathic medicine, specializing in pulmonology and general pediatrics, with clinical interests in asthma, preschool wheeze and bronchoscopy. She began her postsecondary education at University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University- DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. She completed her pediatric residency, serving one year as chief resident, during her time at University of Florida at Orlando | Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL. She completed her pediatric pulmonology fellowship at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC.

Dr. Williams explains respiratory disorders in a way that is easily comprehensible for both the patient and their family. When this information is clearly understood, it significantly helps in understanding the rationale behind the use of specific medications and how they function. Recognizing the breathing difficulties a child may experience empowers the family to be more involved in their child's care.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Williams enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter.
