Brooke Owen, PA-C

Physician assistant Brooke Christine Owen is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She completed her master’s degree at the Wake Forest School of Medicine and her bachelor’s degree in biology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining WakeMed Physician Practices – Garner Primary Care, Brooke worked as a perinatal technician at UNC REX Healthcare Women’s Center in Raleigh, N.C., and as a certified nursing assistant at the Mann Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic in Cary, N.C.

Owen is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and enjoys getting to know her patients on a more personal level. Passionate about pediatrics and women’s health, she believes strongly in partnering with her patients to create a care plan that is customized to meet their personal needs.

Outside of medicine, Owen is dedicated to volunteerism and community service, donating her time to such organizations as the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Orphanage Outreach. She has also traveled to Panama and the Dominican Republic for medical mission work.

Owen is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
