Britney Smithmyer is a physician assistant with clinical interests in keeping abreast of the latest advances in evidence-based medicine. Throughout her career, she has worked in emergency medicine and urgent care, embracing the variety that each day brings.

Smithmyer's personal patient care philosophy involves understanding patients' needs to be heard, especially in times of illness or injury. She takes time to stop and actively listen during each patient encounter.

The team was extremely attentive and sweet to my daughter. They took the time to explain everything and are very good at what they do.

She was very kind, and I felt very respected and cared about. I came very close to the end of the day but yet I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt that she gave the same care as she would any other patient. I ended up having to do a breathing treatment there they still let me finish that without making me feel uncomfortable by being there later. I would highly recommend this doctor, it’s so hard to find caring respectful doctors especially in urgent cares. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with doctors in the past so I was anxious but she put me at ease. I would definitely come back there if I needed urgent care in the future.
