Benjamin Coil, PA-C

Benjamin Coil is a physician assistant with clinical interests across the expanse of cardiology. Within that domain, he is particularly passionate about coronary artery disease, heart failure, vascular disease, and cardiovascular disease prevention. Several years ago, his father was a patient of WakeMed Heart & Vascular and is doing well today. That experience peaked Coil’s interest, taking him back to health care — this time, as a provider.

He earned both his bachelor's and master’s degrees from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

When it comes to taking care of patients, he strives to give everyone high quality and compassionate care. He cares for patients the way he would want members of his own family to be cared for, knowing that no matter who he is caring for, that person is somebody’s family member and is deserving of the best! He develops trusting patient-provider relationships, ensuring he builds rapport and makes them feel comfortable throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Coil enjoys woodworking, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his wife and family.
