Annie Lahti, MD

Dr. Annie Lahti is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physician trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of conditions. Dr. Lahti’s clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraceptive management, infertility, management of abnormal bleeding and low and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Lahti received her medical degree from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Lahti’s goal with every patient is to understand them as a person and then understand how she can help them improve their health and overall quality of life. She takes pride in listening carefully to patients and then investigating, diagnosing, and managing their conditions utilizing the latest advances in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Lahti’s patients receive the same level of care and attention that she would expect of someone treating her family members. Her patients can expect education about their bodies, health risks, and things to look out for in between visits or after procedures, which is critical to establishing a trusting care relationship that minimizes the risk of future health problems. Outside of work, Dr. Lahti enjoys dancing, hiking, and traveling. While at home, she enjoys cooking, needlepoint, and volunteering with the DAR Service for Veterans in the Triangle.
