Anne Murphy, PA-C

Anne Murphy is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in trauma, general surgery, critical care and infectious disease. She received her master’s in physician assistant studies from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and bachelor’s in biology from SUNY College at Oneonta in Oneonta, New York. Murphy also completed her surgical physician assistant residency from Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut where she assisted in a multitude of surgical procedures.

Murphy is dedicated to her patients and keeps in mind their emotional needs as well as their physiologic ones. Murphy is passionate about patient education and believes that healing cannot truly begin until the patient and their family fully understand their body and condition. She approaches each patient encounter as a knowledgeable and compassionate health care provider who is dedicated to treating every patient as a person first and foremost. Outside of work, Murphy enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, reading, yoga, volleyball and listening to podcasts.
