Andrew Yoon, PA-C

Andrew Yoon is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery due to the abundance of innovative new techniques and technologies that are actively being developed in the field. His interests also extend into perioperative care and critical care management. Andrew completed his bachelor’s in human biology at the University of California Irvine in Irvine, California, and obtained his master’s in physician assistant studies at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Andrew worked as an emergency medical technician in San Francisco, California.

Andrew embraces a compassionate, team-based approach to patient care. He values collaborative communication both with the patient as well as the entire multidisciplinary team. Andrew‘s aim is to provide evidence-based care, while engaging his patients with warmth and empathy. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping and playing sports. He also enjoys traveling to new destinations and exploring the Triangle area.
