About Me

Amanda Sadowsky is a board-certified, doctoral prepared nurse practitioner with clinical interests in pediatric critical care, neonatal medicine and transitional support between intensive and acute care settings. She has a strong interest in improving care pathways for newborns and critically ill children, as well as mentoring new advanced practice providers to thrive in high-acuity environments. She is especially dedicated to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and outcomes. A neonatal resuscitation program instructor, she is certified through the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. She began her postsecondary education at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. She then earned both her master’s degree and doctorate while attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Sadowsky’s philosophy of care is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practice and family-centered decision making. She believes every child deserves an advocate who approaches care with both clinical precision and genuine empathy. Striving not only to treat illness but to support families through moments of fear and uncertainty, she ensures they feel informed, respected and empowered as partners in their child’s care.

Outside of work, Sadowsky enjoys gardening, creating skincare formulations and building projects around her home greenhouse and landscape. She also loves spending time with her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren, who keep life joyful and full of perspective. Traveling and exploring new experiences is another passion, giving her a fresh outlook that she brings back to her professional and personal life.
