Amanda Kupris, MD

Dr. Amanda Kupris is a family medicine physician with clinical interests in sports medicine, LGBTQIA health, gender health, sexual health and integrative (holistic) health. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She went on to medical school at The University of Queensland School of Medicine-Ochsner Clinical School in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and New Orleans, LA. She finished her residency through University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Kupris takes a patient-centered approach that prioritizes the voices and concerns of her patients, recognizing that they are the best experts of their own bodies. By actively listening to their experiences and symptoms, she enhances patient outcomes and fosters a collaborative environment where patients feel valued and understood. With a comprehensive understanding of each patient's unique situation, Dr. Kupris engages in thoughtful discussions, exploring all available options and possibilities to empower her patients in making informed decisions about their health care journeys. Her dedication to collaboration and communication illuminates the path toward effective treatment and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Kupris enjoys playing board and video games. She also enjoys hiking and going to museums. I listens to all sorts of music and enjoys a good book. She is currently learning to play rugby with the Raleigh Venom. She also is a lover of travel both within the United States and abroad, living in many areas of the country and completing medical school in Brisbane, Australia.
