Adija Bailey, PA-C

Adija Bailey is a certified physician assistant with clinical interests in chronic illness management, such as diabetes and hypertension. Bailey believes that many of the complications from these can be prevented and she enjoys guiding people through that process. Bailey attended the physician assistant program at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and completed her bachelor’s in biology from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina.

Bailey’s patient care philosophy is geared toward patient centered focused care and making sure the patients are involved in their care and decision making. Bailey believes it is important in primary care to build relationships and trust, not only with patients but in many cases their families and loved ones.

Outside of work, Bailey enjoys spending time with her son, husband, family and friends and trying new restaurants. Being a former collegiate basketball and softball player, Bailey enjoys playing sports when possible.
