Adam Kansagor, DO, FACOG

Dr. Adam Kansagor is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to improving the overall health and quality of life of each patient. His clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecology surgery, robotic surgery, women’s sexual health, pelvic floor prolapse, and urinary incontinence. Additionally, Dr. Kansagor performs osteopathic manipulation on patients, when indicated, to alleviate musculoskeletal pain and other discomforts of pregnancy.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Kansagor believes in a holistic approach when treating each patient. He focuses on collaborating with each patient, establishing expectations, and working toward their goals to improve their overall quality of life. Dr. Kansagor brings over a decade of experience to WakeMed, along with a wealth of experience with low and high-risk pregnancies.

An active member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Dr. Kansagor is recognized by ABOG with a focused practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). He has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at local and national meetings.

Outside of work, Dr. Kansagor enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, hiking, traveling, listening to live music, exercising, and cooking. He also enjoys medical mission trips, which involve providing care and surgically treating patients in underserved areas.
