Victoria Fashakin, MD, FACOG

Dr. Victoria Fashakin is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physician who enjoys empowering her patients to make healthy choices. Dr. Fashakin’s clinical interests, based on her research and experience, include routine and high-risk obstetrics, well woman and adolescent gynecology, the care of women with sickle cell disease across the spectrum of reproductive health, family planning, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and fibroids.

Dr. Fashakin received her medical degree from Columbia University and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Duke University, where she served as chief resident. She was raised in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and in New York City.

Dr. Fashakin approaches caring for patients as a conversation between trusted friends. Her goal is that each patient intimately understands and participates in their care plan. She strives to care for each patient the way she would want someone to care for her family.

Outside of work, Dr. Fashakin enjoys camping, traveling, exploring new cuisine, vegetable gardening, and playing the upright double bass.
