Medical Assistant Apprenticeship

Medical assistants are multi-skilled health professionals who can perform clinical and administrative duties in a variety of health care settings.  

What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction to prepare workers for highly skilled careers. Workers benefit from apprenticeships by receiving a skills-based education that prepares them for their career. Apprenticeship programs help employers recruit, build, and retain a highly skilled workforce.

• Learn and implement the WakeMed Behaviors and Tenets

• Must be enrolled in Wake Tech’s Medical Apprenticeship and Credentialed Training program
