As the only full-service hospital and 24/7 emergency department in North Raleigh, our goal is to make it easy and convenient for patients in the North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Youngsville and surrounding communities to get the care they need, close to home. Since opening the Healthplex in 2002, Emergency Department in 2005 and the Hospital in 2015WakeMed North Hospital has significantly expanded the services we provide in response to the needs of our growing community. Today, we’re proud to be a full-service, 61-bed community hospital offering a variety of specialty and subspecialty services that can meet the needs of acutely ill patients suffering from a wide range of complex illnesses and injuries, serious neurological conditions such as stroke, cardiovascular problems including chest pain, and much more. Some of our major specialty areas include ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology & Urogynecology, Labor & Delivery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry and Urology. Our hospital services are complemented by our 24/7 full-service emergency department, imaging services, surgery, outpatient laboratory and growing physician practices.
