My doctor was thorough, genuinely interested in my well being, and assisted with all of my questions.
Dr. Mccarthy is always very friendly and explains everything in a respectful way before asking for any decision making. i also have never felt pressured to do one thing or another.

Dr. McCarthy was the best doctor I've ever gone to or talked to about my needs and what I was looking for. I went for ovarian cysts and was looking to go on birth control and she listened very intently, heard everything I said, and talked me through different options and next steps. I would highly recommend this facility and doctor for any first time appointments or any birth control related needs.

I was 2 weeks postpartum and having a difficult time adjusting to a newborn and toddler at home. My husband and I don’t have a “village” here in NC and Dr. McCarthy was so helpful and understanding. She went above and beyond to make me feel seen and heard and not like a burden for the first time in a while. I suffer from Depression and Bipolar 1 outside of pregnancy and postpartum is always extremely hard for me. She made me feel not like a “statistic”. Instead she made me feel human. She made me feel like a mom who just is trying to manage and adjust. The visit with her was everything. I reached out for help and she grabbed my hand. That is the kind of doctor’s the world desperately needs.
