Physician Bio

Dr. Lagarde serves as director of WakeMed Physician Practices - Pediatric Endocrinology. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans Louisiana and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). Dr. Lagarde went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at UNC-CH and was an assistant professor of pediatrics at UNC-CH from 2004 to 2007.

He currently holds an adjunct appointment as assistant professor of pediatrics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a consulting appointment at Duke Children's and is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.

Dr. Lagarde is married and has three children.
