Ronald McDonald House

The WakeMed Children’s Hospital is home to a five-room Ronald McDonald House operated in association with the Ronald McDonald House of Durham.

Helping Children Heal & Cope Better

Research shows that a family presence in the hospital helps children heal and cope better. Staying close by allows parents to better communicate with their child’s medical team and improves adherence to complicated treatment plans.

The Ronald McDonald House at WakeMed offers a comfortable place to stay and a support system for families when they are going through a difficult medical situation. The five-bedroom House is located within the Heart Center Inn on the WakeMed Raleigh Campus.
