Our Services:

WakeMed is pleased to offer three convenient locations for outpatient Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) lab. Because the service is not hospital-based, patients can save money on out-of-pocket costs associated with hospital facility fees. Our team of exceptional respiratory therapists and pulmonologists take pride in providing quick turn-around times for the convenience of our patients and referring physicians.

• Complete PFT (spirometry, lung volumes, and Diffusing Capacity of the Lung for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO)
• Complete PFT/Bronchodilator (complete PFT with spirometry pre & post bronchodilator)
• Simple Spirometry
• Bronchodilator Study (spirometry with pre & post bronchodilator)
• Six-minute Walk Tests

Arterial Blood Gas draws can be performed in the WakeMed Brier Creek Outpatient Laboratory.
