Mr. Wrench was very caring, concerned, very informative and I felt very confident that I was getting excellent care. The next day he followed up with additional instructions after he received the results from my labs.

My visit with Dr. Matthew was a follow up from my stay in the hospital. He was very kind and explained things to me that i wasn’t sure of and he wrote down things to help me to remember what i needed to have done, the things i had to do at home. His nurse was also a very nice and kind person. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
Matthew wrench was very knowledgeable and patient with explaining my condition and the drugs that I needed to use. We were very impressed with him. He addressed everything that I had a question about. My son was with me and he addressed his questions as well and was very caring. He explained to me that I had a great team that would be taking care of any needs. I had with my heart. I felt very comfortable with my care and the future.
I like the facility and staff. It is so easy to check in. Wait time is minimal. The staff is cheerful and very efficient and professional. I really like Matthew and Dr. Go. I have the upmost confidence for their professional services and care.

I had some concerns about how dizzy I was and sent a message on My Chart. Within 2 hours I got a call from Dr Mat and he explained what he thought the problem was. Very concerned and took time to talk to me and adjusted my medication. I was very impressed!!

I just like the folks at Wake Med. Wake has the best Cardiac Care Center in Wake County. Until hospitals started competing with each other all other hospitals sent their cardiac cases that needed the best care to Wake.
Everything was outstanding. It is so well run and Matt really took his time explaining things to me and I never felt like my questions were dumb ones.
Mishel was very professional taking and recording blood pressure, blood ox and pulse as well as the EKG. For a young lady she provides a very good impression of WakeMed. Matt Wrench reviewed the results and discussed the finding as well as portions of the screening questionnaire. He was also personable and we spoke about the current practice of medicine in reference to heart health. Yes, I would recommend this team to friends and family requiring care.

I was concerned about my issues and wanted to see someone asap. My regular cardiologist was totally booked, so when Mr. Wrench was recommended, I was happy for the appointment and went in the next day. Mr Wrench had obviously studied my history. He was very thorough when examining me and he asked me lots of related questions. He also answered all of my questions. He had had the nurse run a test and talked with my regular cardiologist about the results. Mr Wrench then discussed those results with me. He and my regular cardiologist agreed that I need further tests. (I know I'm in great hands.) Before I left, I scheduled a follow-up appointment, and Mr. Wrench walked me to checkout and scheduled my next tests. Thank you for the excellent care, Mr Wrench! I left feeling much better than when I arrived.

I have been seen by any number of doctors, physician, assistants, and nurse practitioners. Matthew is an amazing person. I have never felt more comfortable discussing problems of any sort with him. He is a tremendous asset to Wake Med! He is very intelligent and knowledgeable. If he worked for me, I would double his pay, seriously.

My appointment was timely, the staff was really good and my doctor was outstanding.
I can’t say enough positive about the help I received on [DATE]. I thought my appointment was on [DATE], but it was actually on [DATE]. I told receptionist that I was from an hour away, and she went back and talked with someone, and Matthew Wrench agreed to see me. I only had to wait about an hour past my original appt. time. Matt was great. Even though I had never seen him, he seemed very up to date on my situation. He talked to Dr. [ ] and care decisions were made that I was very comfortable with because of his thorough explanations and my own understanding of what I needed to do. The nurse who took my information (I believe her name is Sarah) was very nice, too. She had a smile and was friendly and personable. Despite the fact that I had made the mistake in the date, I never once was made to feel that I caused problems for them. I got the same outstanding care I always get at Wake. I really hope the people who helped me get to see this and know how much I value them.
