About Me
Karen Pustulka is an experienced occupational therapist who specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries, particularly of the hand, elbow and shoulder. She also works with patients who have suffered a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or concussion and provides therapies to patients with Parkinson’s disease.
Pustulka earned her bachelor’s degree at Utica College of Syracuse University. Pustulka was always athletic and played multiple sports. She wanted a dynamic, challenging career that kept her moving and on her feet. She fell in love with occupational therapy while working as a rehab aide. It’s a career that blends her natural caregiving skills, critical thinking and interest in keeping the human body in motion.
Karen has many interests outside of work. She loves the outdoors – hiking, kayaking, camping, etc. She works in an animal rescue and enjoys photography and researching her family’s roots. In addition, she is a traveler and continues to be a sports enthusiast.
