Our New Labor & Delivery Suites - Coming September 2017!

Cary Hospital’s new Labor & Delivery suites are due for completion by September 2017. Like you, we are counting down the days to our newest addition! We know this is a special time in life for you and your family and want to assure you that we will meet your needs with excellent maternal care.

With this renovation underway, we are still delivering babies in our Women’s Pavilion & Birthplace – Cary in birthing rooms just like our former labor and delivery rooms. A portion of the Mother/Baby nursing unit has moved temporarily to our 1 East nursing unit in traditional hospital rooms where our mother/baby nurses and support staff provide excellent postpartum care in a quiet and secured environment.

All of the labor and delivery renovation work – and its related dust, debris and workers – is contained behind walls with a separate construction entrance from the Women’s Pavilion & Birthplace. While there may be noise related to the project from time to time, we have asked the contractor to please be sensitive to this care environment.

Coming in September
Our 13 new Labor & Delivery suites will feature:

  • Space designed for mom’s care, baby’s care and the support person that is spacious, safe and comfortable
  • Updated tiled bathrooms with showers and a separate soaker tub
  • Unique design features that provide a calm, soothing environment for all
