In my opinion, both the office and the medical staffs endeavour to provide attentive and compleat patient care. I have not encountered issues or shortcomings in the care provided. I do not feel part of an "assembly line" process that appears overly concerned with volumn of care rather than complete quality of care.

All of the staff are excellent from check-in, vitals, doctor, and check out.
The fact that I didn't have to wait long in either the reception area or the exam room. That shows to me that they value my time as I do theirs.
Dr. Macphersons medical assistant was phenomenal! She was so kind and explained every thing. She spent time to talk and get to know me during the rooming process. Above and beyond care!

Dr. MacPherson was very understanding about my concerns having tested []. He was making the required medical exam prior to prescribing [Rx] for me. I was pleased that WakeMed could respond quickly to make the assessment, so I could get started on [Rx] if it was appropriate. Dr. MacP reviewed my medications, asked questions and explaine that there are 2 dosages of [Rx] and I would get the lower dose due to my current conditions and medications. He interacted with me very calmly and took the time I needed to understand the situation, the meds, etc. His was the first "virtual exam" I have had with WakeMed; I was very satisfied with the exam. Dr. MacPherson was professional, thorough and kind. He took time to explain things I should be doing at home like running a vaporizer at night and a humidifier during the day to help relieve my sinus pressure. He asked questions and listened to my concerns. Overall, it was a great visit.

Dr. MacPherson is one of the best health care providers I've ever had. He always takes the time to give my health full attention and care. He reviews all the relevant records, asks good questions and listens to me, and puts together a good picture of what's going on with me. In a recent example, he was right about me having become lactose intolerant. Some simple changes to diet and medication have helped me avoid significant pain and discomfort. He also refers me to excellent specialists when needed. Thank you to Dr. Mac!

From my initial assessment/treatment at the ER to my transfer to WakeMed ICU in Cary, discharge and follow up visit with Doctor MacPherson, the care I received at all levels was top notch. I have been impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, teamwork and speed with which everyone involved handled my situation. Doctors, techs, nurses and aides all worked like a well oiled machine to see me through this event and I can’t say thank you enough.
