About Me
Dr. Bilal Khalid is a board-certified medical oncologist with clinical interests in gastrointestinal medical oncology. Dr. Khalid received his medical degree from Ayub Medical College, in Abbottabad, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from the University at Buffalo and Hematology and Oncology fellowship from Stephenson Cancer Center, University of Oklahoma. Prior to coming to WakeMed, Dr.Khalid served as faculty at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Saint Louis University Cancer Center.
Dr. Khalid strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care to all patients. Dr.Khalid’s patient care philosophy is to treat all patients like his family. When not at work, Dr. Khalid enjoys spending time with his family.
