Everything was outstanding. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and I mean everyone. No one made me feel uncomfortable and the always felt reassured and understood.
The doctor’s service was great, and answered my questions.

My reason for the visit caused me to have worry , concern and overall stress . Dr Evans and her team did an exceptional job creating a non stressful environment by their comfort and knowledge.
Dr Evans is by far the best doctor I met in the facility. She was attentive and thorough about my condition before coming to the examination room. She understood my concerns and ran tests as a precautionary measure due to my previous history. This helped reducing my anxiety because precaution is better than cure and in pregnancy you don’t want to take any chances. Wakemed should have more doctors like her. She was very prompt in replying towards my test results almost like immediately. This has not been done by any provider so far.
Mostly, Dr Evans made sure I was heard- she asked me a few times if there was anything else I had concerns about. She was very thorough.

Dr. Evans was great and understanding. She answered all my questions and offered medical advice based on those questions. I hope she stays around. This is my third gynecologist in 3 years at this location.

Adrian was the nurse who got me settled, she was great about letting me know that she would be going quickly so I could maximize time with provider but that I should stop her if I had questions. The women at the front desk were so accommodating as well.
Dr. Evans is amazing! You can tell she truly is passionate about her job. It’s so refreshing to not be rushed out of my appt. She takes her time answering your questions and making you feel valid for any feelings you have. I wish I could see her every time!

Dr. Joanna Evans was excellent. I was nervous for my appointment as this was the first time I have seen a GYN in many years. And she completely put me at ease, she answered all of my questions with detail and I only felt understanding and ease when interacting with her. She is awesome, I hope to continue seeing her for my yearly visits.

Dr. Perez-Evans is patient, kind, and a good listener. I could feel that she really cared about getting me the best outcome possible. Nurse Adrian was the best nurse I’ve Encountered in this type of setting. She tried her best to put me at ease even with the extreme pain I had. She was very personable and considerate. So kind.
