WakeMed Patient - February 2020

It is always a pleasure to go see Dr. Hicks. Her staff is friendly and orderly and her level of care is ALWAYS outstanding! I

WakeMed Patient - February 2020

Dr Hicks explained age related, generic and ethnicity testing and screenings that have never been explained to me prior to my appointment with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and supportive of my current non-Western medicine regimens and dietary needs in managing my type 2 diabetes. I will certainly recommend her to my friends and family, actually, a friend referred me to Dr. Hicks and it was the best physician find that I''ve had in a long time. I am a RN so I am really really really picky about my care team and Dr Hick is stellar and I hope that we build a long lasting patient/doctor relationship. I came to the practice after losing my primary care physician and it was SO WORTH it...so glad that I was recommended to her.

Claudia, Dr Hick''s assistant that day was extremely compassionate in a conversation that I had with her. I asked her to update my information due to my sister''s recent cancer diagnosis. She sensed my sadness and spent time consoling me in a quiet , gentle and very personal manner.
