She called as soon as the results from test were in, I was reading them on my chart when she called and she explained all the results. I think that Wake Med is great, I received a response from Dr [] about the tests and to follow up on how I was doing.

Dr. Hicks communications skills were excellent. She knew how to ask the personal question in a way where it was not embarrassing. She spent quality time answering my questions. and I did not feel rushed. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. The person who verified my appointment was patient clearly communicated what I needed to do. He also spent time to schedule my next appointment before I left. The young lady that did my weight, temperature and other vitals was excellent as well. I noticed that the scale was not in pounds - it had to be communicated verbally once I was in the privacy of the room where I meet the doctor. Exceptional experience, I will recommend her to my family and friends.

This was my first time having to do a video/audio appointment and it was wonderful. I was so nervous but It was a smooth transition. The same professional care and help that I get in the office and Dr Hicks gave me great remedies to help me feel better. My blood pressure was higher than it normally is and Dr Hicks was sooo considerate and made sure it was down before we hung up. I love coming to this office!!

I had an issue with froms that needed to be faxed to a facility. The follow-up of Dr. Hicks' staff was excellent. I received several calls to make sure the issue was addressed. It turns out that the problem was on the facility's side and Dr. Hicks' staff found an alternative to make sure the forms were delivered.
Excellent préparation for thé vidéo call with a nurse, student doctor before seeing the Doctor. This allowed the Doctor to have all the information she needed to make the video call as efficient as possible. Good job, thank you.

Just the overall experience I was really sick and hurting I did not have to wait Once I check in at the front desk, I called to the back to a room and it wasn’t long after that the nurse came in and then Dr Hicks. Love my doctor she is the best. Right now I have to drive an hour just to get to her office but I don’t mine because she is the best. Not often you have a doctor that is very good and listens to you and helps you in every way they can.

I had a very small window of time to be scheduled for Dr. Hicks. Ginger did a phenomenal job listening, understanding the urgency, working to ensure I could virtually visit my PCP. Ginger went above and beyond. She was professional and so understanding. Please recognize her as I understand she works directly in Dr. Hicks’ office. Her approach to patient care/scheduling should be replicated!!!
