Electrophysiology & Complex Arrhythmia

Our Services:

At WakeMed Heart & Vascular, we understand how scary heart rhythm problems can be. We have experienced physicians to help diagnose your condition and pinpoint problems with your heart’s electrical system. Of course, we offer many corrective treatments – most are minimally invasive procedures – that will help return a normal rhythm to your heart and your life.

When the electrical system is not working correctly, it can cause:

  • Atrial fibrillation (irregular, rapid and quivering heartbeat)
  • Irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia)
  • Tachycardias (fast heartbeat)
  • Bradycardias (slow heartbeat)
  • Syncope (fainting)
  • Heart flutters or palpitations
  • And even cardiac arrest
