At WakeMed Rehabilitation in Raleigh, NC, we offer comprehensive pediatric inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for children, teens and young adults. Our pediatric specialists are passionate about treating patients who have suffered traumatic illnesses and injuries, such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and multiple fractures as well as Guillain-Barré syndrome and congenital issues.
WakeMed Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital – Inpatient
WakeMed Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital is specifically for kids, adolescents and young adults recovering from traumatic illnesses and injuries. WakeMed is the only hospital in the region to offer pediatric rehabilitation for medically complex patients. Our young patients and their families appreciate WakeMed Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital's location in the kid-friendly WakeMed Children’s Hospital, which offers several amenities.

Children's Outpatient Rehabilitation
ACL tear prevention and recovery, developmental issues and feeding and swallowing disorders in infants, and speech/language disorders in children and teens are just a few of the conditions WakeMed Outpatient Rehabilitation’s pediatric physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians and neuropsychologists treat in our multiple locations in Wake County and Clayton.

Outpatient Rehab Practice Locations
All WakeMed Outpatient Rehab practices serve children and adolescents. Some of our practices offer specialty children's services (pelvic health, neuro for brain and spinal cord injuries, etc.). Parents and providers are welcome to call 919-350-7000 for additional information.
These practices serve the orthopaedic rehab needs, unless otherwise specified, of children age 5 and older:
