Whenever possible, we offer our patients minimally invasive and robotic-assisted options, using the da Vinci surgical system. We specialize in advanced colonoscopy and transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), a laparoscopic procedure that reduces time spent in the hospital and has fewer complications. We also follow Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) research-based guidelines, which are designed to make a significant difference in patients’ recovery time and to minimize surgical complications.
