About Me
Shea Whittaker is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in acute care medicine, critical care and surgery. He earned his physician assistant degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina and completed his undergraduate degree in neurobiology at The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.
Whittaker focuses on practicing excellent, compassionate, and patient centered medicine. Whittaker’s patient care philosophy is that medicine is a team effort and the patient is an essential part of that team. He believes in evidence-based practice and lifelong education with the goal of delivering the best care possible.
Outside of work, Whittaker enjoys riding his bicycle, hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife, son and dog.
