Attitude of entire staff
The whole experience was the best I ever had, I’m originally from Missouri and hadn’t been established in NC. But they were very patient with me about questions and concerns I had. The last procedure I had in this is my third procedure. This was the absolute best, I had very little pain to no pain at all. They made sure I was very comfortable on my way home I stay an hour away. So I was very happy with the team understand that. My husband was happy with how the process his Fmla (family leave) paper work. In keeping him updated during the surgery. In answering all questions even if they was important ones , they were to the doctor. The whole team really did a wonderful job taking care of me from patients registered in and explaining to him how to follow the board. I can’t say enough about the care I received. It made my breast cancer diagnosis so much easier to get through. I love them for that.
Everyone is so kind and compassionate. They also do an amazing job of taking care of their patients.
The explanation of how my healing of the area from my surgery was excellent. Also, answering questions that I had about home care was well explained. There was also a mix-up on My Chart and that was taken care of.
The care and time they took to help me feel better was amazing.

I used the plastic surgery services in conjunction with general surgery hernia repair caused from another surgery last year. I am extremely grateful that the reconstruction surgery was available at WakeMed and I feel their talents have improved my quality of life!

Ms. Michelle, Kristi, Angela, and the receptionist (I can't remember her name) we ALL great. They made sure I got the best care possible. These ladies go ABOUT and BEYOND EXCELLENT! I never left a visit without them making sure I understand everything! They answered all of my questions, and helped me through all of my fears! They are the best at what they do! I am a burn patient, and they give me the ABSOLUTE best care. They even take the time to explain my treatment with me and my kids! They are ALL AMAZING!!
My WakeMed Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery experience with Dr. [] and staff was by far the best surgical experience I've ever had. Finding the right surgeon was not without challenges and without a doubt, I know I made the right decision. I am pleased with the outcome of my procedure and know that any necessary minor skin revision will be a piece of cake. Thank you all.

The listening to how I felt and understanding my needs. When there was pain when they were showing me how to do at home, I like that Dr Mcmoon sd no not going to do that and had another way I could go. Now that was worth millions

Michelle was absolutely Outstanding today and last Thursday when she actually walked with us to admit me back in hospital thru the emergency room for surgery to remove [...]….it didn’t go unnoticed her compassion toward me as I struggled to deal with the second worst day of my life…..my [] being first and [] being second….Wake Med is very fortunate to have her representing them! Thank You Michelle and I will never forget and forever be thankful you were the one to see me both days and for Dr [] coming in to see me on [DATE] before being readmitted for another surgery! To be pain free after so many years of pain is a blessing and a gift
The whole staff was very pleasant and they didn’t rush me and answered all my questions.
Dr. McMoon was genuinely caring and showed compassion.
When I have asked for bandages and tegaderm, I have always been supplied with what I need for at home care, which I really appreciate, especially when I wasn’t able to drive.
They have been extremely helpful and alleviated my worries and concerns. :)

Dr. Moon examined me and determined what treatment was needed to help me correct the problem and the best approach to use in helping me to continue to heal, and also prescribed medication that was needed. Also, Dr. Moon's assistant named Jay was very helpful, professional and kind. The both of them did very well in explaining through their instructions in how to manage and care for my open wound at home. Also, Jay responded so quickly in returning my call.
