I have been very pleased with Wake Med practice it’s very convenient and staff is great. Dr Payne is genuine he truly cares, I feel I have a great relationship with him and always positive.
My entire appointment process was very timely and organized. I arrived 10 minutes prior to appt time, I was take on time and then sent over to the lab with minimal wait. In addition to the very fine care that I was given, I also greatly appreciate the efficiency of your operation.
This was a new patient visit as I was looking for a new PCP closer to home. I was thoroughly satisfied with my visit and discussion with Dr. Payne and look forward to having him as my PCP. He recommended a follow-up physical in 6 months which I have scheduled.

Dr did all blood tests I asked him to. I was just surprised no ekg. All my drs in my did them as a check up visit. And I had to ask to have my throat looked at just precaution for myself. Otherwise I like him very much I already recommended him to my chiropractor

Dr. Payne always leaves me feeling satisfied that my issues/questions have truly been considered, not just heard. He is willing to adjust on the fly based on my feedback and I always feel like we have the best handle possible on my complex health issues. Went to see Dr. Payne to renew a prescription. Wanted a one on one visit as I had additional questions about a current refill needed and new refill for an older prescription he didn’t prescribe (coughing “pearls” which my previous provider prescribed). Also went over my blood work I had performed with the new endocrinologist. He listens to all of my concerns and answers my questions so I understand any and all interactions.

I don’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes and my entire appointment takes no more than 30 minutes. The nurse taking blood at the time was the best nurse I have worked with there.
